I am so glad you are here at The Affective Collective! I am Laura, a wife and a mom to two boys and an English bulldog. Our home can feel beautifully chaotic, as it is filled to the brim with dance parties, sing alongs, navigating the emotions of a toddler, and supporting the learning of a newborn.

I am a pediatric occupational therapist with a passion for supporting families to find fulfillment in their everyday lives. I have spent over a decade diving into DIR Floortime + relational neuroscience, sensory processing, and motor development.

I love helping families understand how you can use your relationships to authentically support your child’s development. It is through these connections you can learn new skills and navigate obstacles life throws your way.

Why me? Because I am you - a parent doing the best that I can in any given moment with the tools I have.

Step Two

Schedule an evaluation, parent support, or mentorship session.

Discuss ongoing need for support through therapy sessions and/or virtual meetings

Insurance + billing

We are out-of-network with all insurances. We can provide a superbill for you to submit for insurance reimbursement dependent on your plan.
